Useful things to send
- Corrections. Name the page and the specific claim. If you have the agency source that contradicts it, even better.
- Out-of-date information. Report prices, state rules and provider terms change and we do not always catch it first.
- Privacy requests. See the privacy policy for what we hold and how to ask for it.
- Broken pages. The URL and what you expected to find is enough.
What we cannot do
We cannot run a VIN for you. We have no vehicle database, no access to NMVTIS, and no relationship with any state motor vehicle agency. If you need a record on a specific car, our guide to what a free VIN check gets you covers which sources are free and where a paid report is the only option.
We also cannot give legal advice about a purchase, a title dispute or a lemon law claim, tell you whether a particular car is worth buying, or intervene with a seller or a dealer on your behalf.
